Don Mark Baldridge
An associate professor with one of those ancient, shade-strewn colleges that dot Pennsylvania, I hold a dual
appointment in Comp-Sci and Fine Art.
This positions me squarely at the joins between games and literature, animation and performance —between
technology and the creative expression it enables.
I earned the MFA (2005) from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Since then I've lived and worked in three countries, on two continents: Mexico, South Korea and the U.S. —where I was born.
In all my work (I'm also an avid musician and maker of puppets) I follow an experimental, collaborative, and rigorous practice. An approach which has led me, as a performer, around the world: to Australia, India, and the Montreal Fringe.
In these pages I'm a writer —of speculative, slipstream and magic-realist works, both prose and poesy.
